About Jonathan
Jonathan Thiffault is the founding member of J.T. Trade Remedies. As a former senior investigator within the CBSA’s anti-dumping and countervailing division, he has worked on many high-profile anti-dumping and countervailing proceedings during his time at the CBSA, including oil-country tubular goods, hot-rolled steel plate, flat hot‑rolled carbon and alloy steel sheet & strip, upholstered domestic seating, nitisinone capsules and small power transformers. During his time within the CBSA, Jonathan also participated in updating the dumping Request for Information (RFI) templates, as well as in the hiring process of future investigators.
Since leaving the CBSA in 2022, Jonathan founded J.T. Trade Remedies in order to help businesses navigate the complex Canadian anti-dumping and countervailing program and get them the best possible outcome. His expertise in trade remedies investigations and cost-accounting, combined with his passion for helping businesses grow and succeed in the Canadian market, makes him a valuable asset to any organization. He is committed to providing clients with the highest quality of service and delivering results that exceed expectations.
